Vidya?In an attempt to forget Saber, I played… you know what I played today… the Fire Emblem Warriors games, both of them. They’re just, uh, very very good. I saw a review where someone said that Extella/Link is the GREATEST MUSOU GAME available. That’s sooooooooooooo WRONG. It’s good. It’s really good. But erm, the best? YOU CAN’T EVEN SWITCH BETWEEN CHARACTERS IN A BATTLE. AND? AND? YOU CAN’T ISSUE ORDERS TO ANY ALLIES EITHER. DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! In both Fire Emblem Warriors games, you can do both. You can switch between up to 4 characters aaaaand you can TEEEEEELL THEM WHERE TO GOOOOOOOOoooooooooo. That’s the good stuff man 😩 I’m not happy if I’m not controlling my army. One of their primary reasons for liking Extella is that you “fast travel” between zones, so you don’t have to run around a map doing nothing until you get to a base, like all other Musou games. And I admit that it’s cool. It looks cool, it does cut a lot of boring walking… on its face. You know what, though? I’d rather be able to bring mulitple characters and issue orders because if you send someone on ahead of you while you finish up taking a base, and then you simply switch to them after you’re done, and they’ve arrived, YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO TRAVEL ANYWAY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Something I will grant, though, is that your NPC allies aren’t totally useless, they act well enough on their own. Aaaand… you can use a COMMAND SIGN to fast-travel to anywhere in the map 3 times, which *tactically* almost makes up for not being able to send your allies to handle something while you’re doing something else. Why not both, though? I still really like it. I’m actually, by writing this, talking myself into playing it when I finish writing. But it should have beeeeeen… better. It had a lot to work with, didn’t it? The roster’s AIGHT, I like at least half of it, buuuut I mean… lemme put it another way… FE Warriors Three Hopes is basically a full Fire Emblem game. All of the characters can switch into almost any class, change abilities and spells and upgrade their weapons, equipment, get battalions to affect their strengths and weaknesses, team-up with partners, if they have a mount, they can get on or off it, theegsorthsjsrothsjrth Extella just has a almost none of that. And it *could*, because just off the top of my head, I know that Servants have different Stages sacrificed to the corn I actually thought they were discussing the food for like 5 whole seconds and I’m like wtf is this Why is corn too good? It really doesn’t help that “GOOD” is in yellow, too. Yellow like corn. But no, they’re of course arguing about porn. I’m sure it’s a riveting conversation. [I am not going to be mean. You know exactly what I have to say about her, so why should I say it?] Anyway, you know what’s funny about CORN? REAL CORN, not pornography. I was in a uh… Thanksgiving play in Kindergarten, and they dressed me up as corn. Against my will. I was not consulted. There’s a word for that, you know. Whatever. I had 1 line in the play. “Corn”. I just had to say “corn”. Literally the least amount of words out of anyone. Another kid, a black kid named Randy, had to say “And bread.” Two words. I only had to say one. Do you think I delivered my line? Or do you think I got stage fright and froze in front of an auditorium of parents? Yeah. Randy saved me, though. 🫱🏻🫲🏾 I painted Ingo as the Poe CollectorS I don’t need you to tell me he’s terrible, I know, very sloppy. I never draw on my tablet, and I don’t think the program I was using has a fill tool, so was manually coloring him in with LAYERS and I was just getting soooooo lazy. I’m such a Leo. I’m gonna redo him properly, and then finish my GENIUS new 100%-canon fan theory. I’m going to use 🫙bottles to prove that he’s the Poe Collector. Idk the finer details yet, but basically I’m going to assert that all bottles in Hyrule come from Lon Lon Ranch, and that Ingo wants Poes to give to Ganondorf to make up for failing to get him Epona. I might tie it in to my other Poe theory, too. That could be funny. But it’s not ready yet. I used to be able to do this in half an hour. The painting and the entire stupid theory all written up. Now I’m just uh. 🦁 pls enjoy these so I can delete them.
