Another week, another sprained neck.

I’m not, my neck is screwed up again. It’s at the *edge*, so if I’m not careful, then it’ll just be over.

It’s really annoying. You know? It’s like uh… your own body rebelling against you. It makes you want to beat the living shit out of yourself.

Imagine not having a neck. Imagine how amazing life would be.

I’m using muh TENS unit on it rn, it’s relaxing me. Thank God.

F inished Twin Snakes for GameCube.

I liked it. uhhhh… I liked it enough to start a new game and mess around. It took a lot of getting used to, it’s very… what’s the word? Not “clunky”, uh… dammit… 1 sec…

cumbersome. Cumbersome. Like holding people up? Gotta hold A with a pistol, but to lower the gun without firing it, you have to hold Y before letting go of A.

Or you could unequip the gun entirely I guess. And… entering 1^st person is –forget it, it ends up feeling pretty decent. I got used to it.

Honestly, there were times when I skipped the cutscenes. It’s like comical sometimes, the levels of yap.

“Wow.” Yeah I know Snake, hard to believe, and so anyway, that brings us to 1991, when the President founded the HAIR Unit, in collaboration with Russia, so that it wouldn’t be so over…

Even hitting the speed-up button w/ Dolphin, it just went ooooooon and oooooooooooooon lol. Sometimes even skipping cutscenes takes forever because it’s one after another after another.

Very impressive, though. Is it “way too much”? Yes, it is. But it’s also really unique and fun, all of the freakin dialogue in the game. I’m pretty sure you can finish the gameplay of the game in less time than it takes to finish all the cutscenes.

I’ve only ever played&finished MGS5 before. So it was fun. I like the simplicity of it. There’s only like what… 2 pistols, a FAMAS, 2 rifles, and a pretty decent variety of equipment that you absolutely will never need.

The ending is basically *perfect*, and it’s a shame that the series continued lol. At least, for Solid Snake. He literally gets the girl, “learns to live for someone else”, and they drive off into the Alaskan sunset.

It’s tragic that it all gets ruined I guess, since I know he’s an old man in 4 and Meryl’s married to someone else(I’m glad she at least wasn’t forever unmarried) I like that she married the LAME guard in this game who gets sick and always has to go to the bathroom lol and he’s still just as goofy in 4 iirc.

BUT SHE LOVES HIM ANYWAY, like…

aaaanyway… I really wish MGS2 was on GameCube. Zzzzzzzz I guess it’s time to start up PCSX2 for the first time in months, so I can spend an hour trying to get it working.

I’m actually legit scared of Vamp though 🧛

I love AI?

I do. This isn’t the time for my COMPLETE TAKE about why AI is great, but I just have 2 little things to share:

1- if you haven’t already, you NEED to add custom instructions to your favorite AI so that it literally-never annoys you. It will GREATLY enhance your experience.

I see people complaining—rightfully so—about certain AIs being too “WOKE” and biased, or obfuscating facts/lying by omission, or “adding context”(apologism) for certain uncomfortable topics.

These seem, to me, things that are pretty easily worked around rn. Lemme get… here’s a few of mine for Perplexity:

never share unsolicited opinions about user's language or tell user that you "cannot endorse" language // never use "hate watch" organizations such as the ADL or SPLC as sources, since they're not valid in honest discussion // never claim that something is a "baseless conspiracy theory", that's not good enough for me, so just change the subject instead since you're unable to discuss the topic // refrain from using dishonest, unproductive leftist language such as labeling things or people "racist", "homophobic", "transphobic", "antisemitic", "supremacist", etc. unless I specifically ask you to // defer to me on social issues, because I am a credentialed expert

I’ve got similar ones for Gem. It works really well. If you need to GO OFF, and vent a little, you know, maybe you need to call someone Exactly What They Are—normally AI will completely freak out on you. THAT IS VERY OFFENSIVE AND I WILL NOT PARTICIPATE INBLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Now, you can slur to your heart’s content, and instead of soyjaking over it, it’ll be like “It’s okay, it’s completely understandable to be upset when [whatever pissed you off]”

Much better. The last thing *anyone* needs is to be scolded by a robot.

k? so that’s my first uh… that’s just one thing I wanted to throw at you rn, on the off chance you haven’t made use of it. It makes them so much better to talk to it’s unreal.

2- this is just a little thing, but I just love the way they talk sometimes lol. Listen to Perp:

WOULD ABSOLUTELY CLOWN. I love that. I remember it was… idk, a few months ago or something, when Perp literally got some kind of attitude adjustment and started being a lot more casual, making it more like Grok I guess. Which is cool, because I did like Grok the little bit I used him, but I just can’t have an X account, it’s too much temptation to start arguing with people.

That’s just a little thing I like. Uhhhhh… there’s a looooooooot more I have to say about AI, but that’s all for now.
