Malcolm Wellmaker’s fighting. That itself means nothing to me-- he’s a great prospect, 10 wins, only lost 1, but THE ONE HE LOST was to Ethtn Ewing, who is so terribly good that I have to go watch that fight because I don’t remember seeing it.

The last guy Ewing beat was such a horrible slaughter that it was almost unwatchable. So LOL I’m hoping that Wellmaker at least put up a good fight.

Played a little more MGS2… I uhhhh… beat Fatman. Non-lethal so I got his tag. Uhhhhhhh… what else… Zzzzzz oh, I still have to save the President I guess. Who is a puppet of … some organization, I guess. What was its name… Loli Lu La Lo?

But didn’t I hear Ocelot ALSO say that he was sent by them on the tanker? So then why did he kidnap and then kill the SS guy?

Nothing makes sense. I really like it, though. Is this the game where the Colonel suddenly becomes spooky? Ooooooo it is? Can’t wait.

I played a smol amount of the original MGS for PS1, and it’s fun. It’s soooo different, though, enemies only being KO’d for a few seconds. But they also instantly forget that they were just attacked, so that’s kinda funny. In some aspects the game’s harder, in some it’s easier. Being able to judo throw someone and then have them forget that it even happened 5 seconds later does make things pretty easy.

I played Twin Snakes very autistically. Like, holding people up and then making them face a wall so I could just run around and do whatever I need to lol. That way I have all the time in the world instead of needing to worry about them waking up in a minute from being choked out.

“Erm, just use the M-9 tranq gun! It puts them to sleep for much longer! 🤓” You expect me to USE AMMO? What if I NEED IT LATER??

anyway, in the *original* I’m up to Ocelot. He was really, really easy in Twin Snakes since you can aim in first-person. I’m kinda not looking forward to fighting him. You only get 2 rations instead of 5, too!

Is it true that Meryl’s ass really is important? Like when you have to meet up with her while she’s in disguise? CAN YOU REALLY tell it’s her by looking at her perfect ass? In Twin Snakes, she’d just routinely *go into the women’s bathroom* so it was always obvious it was her, since all of the soldiers are men. I don’t remember her character model being different than the other soldiers. I guess I didn’t really look that hard, just like in real life, it’s a little tricky to sneak up on someone and look at their ass.

Bro, this game is so freaking good it’s unreal. It’s just so colorful and and fun and relaxing.

… encounter rate can be pretty ridiculous sometimes. Easily tolerable on emulator. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad using Holy Water. But you only have so much inventory space… buuuuuut, I guess when you’d REALLY want to use Holy Water, to say, conserve your HP/MP for a boss, you typically don’t need Herbs in that case anyway. You never need Herbs for a boss. If you do, you’re already doomed.
