That cheered me up. It reminded me of an old friend. It’s been a long time since someone sent me something so ridiculous.

Do you have any friends that would send you something like Fell in Love with my Y/N Crashout: Tsundere Homeboy, A Hood Yaoi Love Story?

I recommend it. The friend, I mean, not the Hood Yaoi Love Story. I lost my last friend that I could just be totally insane with. You know, I could just text him at 3 in the morning something like “Wow Goofy, your son is so passive! Max was MADE to take my cock!! Thank goodness he didn’t have a strong father figure to raise him to be a man, right? Lol okay I’d better get back to him. I’ll call you after I’m finished!”

That just reminded me of something sad.

It reminded me of when I was talking to another friend, and idr, we were just shit-talking back and forth, and I said “Your son will by my son’s girlfriend.”

And that’s hilarious, I love how funny I am, but that friend tragically died. I think that same year, or definitely no later than the year after. I didn’t even know for a few months, because we’d gotten into a fight and stopped talking. One more friend I don’t get to joke around with anymore.

I feel like I forgot to actually tell you what happened in this… you know the uhhh… detective story. But uhhh… okay so Street and Westing found the girl’s father; he basically was just in another dimension that Street was able to access... by standing on his head. I don’t have a fraction of the energy I need to explain the cool way he figured that out, but I promise it was pretty brilliant… you believe me, right? I know “he was in another dimension 🤓” sounds so lame and basic, but the way Street solved the mystery was great.

Straw

A soldier’s recounting the first time he killed someone. He and the group of mercs he joined up traveled by hot air balloon, and they needed to stop at a place for straw. It’s a cool story, sooooo… I’ll actually tell you more about it next time.

Just a little more Dragon Quest 4 😪

finished the sisters’ chapter. They have a bit of a hard dungeon to go through, but once they meet up with their father’s apprentice, it’s pretty much smooth sailing. He’s got high health & high attack so for the short time they’re with him, before he sacrifices himself to save them, it’s EZ PZ. The monster who betrayed and killed their father, BALZAC (yes, pronounced ball sack) has uhhh… strong magic that you can literally just seal with some magic orb and then he’s just a wimp.

stupid idiot.

Finally playing as the hero. The opening always hits me hard. The monsters destroying your town. All your friends, your family, your girl “friend”, all DYING to try to protect you. It’s so miserable. The sad music is too perfect.

Off the top of my head, I can’t remember being more pleasantly-surprised by a vidya ending than when it shows she survived and you meet her again at the same spot she was relaxing at in the beginning.

Happy endings best endings.
