A Savior Is Born

When they were there, the time came for her to have her Child, and she gave birth to her firstborn Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2:6-7

Merry Christmas, fren. I hope you're well today.

Christmas is a nice time, right? It's cozy, it's fun giving people gifts, and receiving them. It's probably the best time of the year, and it should be. It's the birth of the Messiah.

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man

Uhhh... nothing much else. This is just a celebration of The Beginning. Everything changed when Christ was born. The destiny of the entire planet changed, and it really is impossible to calculate how much He did for us. Even beyond... the salvation of our souls(good enough on its own), human life just was made so much easier directly because of Him. The education, the medicine, the hospitals, all of the charity that came from the Church inspired by Him.

So many babies are today born in good hospitals named after Saints who loved the Savior, who was born in a manger. Wild stuff. A MANGER. It's lower than humble, right? I mean, all of it is. His entire life. Even where he was first placed down wasn't extravagent. God really gave Himself a wojak experience, for no reason other than to show us He cares.

I don't appreciate God enough. It's impossible to, but maybe today I can try a little harder. It'd be for my own good.

But this day is just about Christ's birth. It's a purely joyous occasion. Right? So let's treat it as such. wOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I watched It's a Wonderful Life with my parents. I forgot I had a copy saved so we suffered through commericals. And then my father went to sleep and I watched Die Hard with my mother lol. I'd never seen Die Hard, it was pretty good. I guess it's a Christmas movie.

My dog is sleeping next to me right now. She knows it's Christmas, too. She participated in the festivities by licking my face until I gave her an extra bit of a chewie. Rejoice! Rejoice!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaokkkk i'm sleepy now myslf... is this too short of a Christmas post? Probably, sry! But happy birthday, Jesus, I love you.
